Shaded Flash, along with his big brother continued looking out of the train window, wind pushing back against their well put manes. Eyes bright, Shaded Flash felt seemingly ready for this. The train stalled, as it signaled they were at Canterlot High, neighbouring Canterlot Middle School, and Canterlot Elementary. Unicorns filed into the school. Shaded Flash bid a farewell to Star Swirled as they headed off into their own wings.
Entering Geography, solely taught by a unicorn named Sombre, whom took captive of the land up north, all peers were there.
“Welcome, class.” Sombra or Mr. Sombra announced. Looking at us with brilliant scarlet eyes, he announced
“Let us begin.”
Evidently pulling out a map, he showed us the land we were getting familiar with. Pointing at the map of our nation, Mr. Sombra simply handed us a package to start off the day.

Anyway, he pointed to the package.
“Half this package is questions and information used to answer so. Pages 81 to 100 are what you’re answering, so you have to read pages 65 to 80. They are fairly; they consist of multiple choice questions and fill in the blank as well as a short answer every ten questions. ”
No…sweat…Shaded Flash said to himself. He had to remember to get back in track of school as the war had altered the course of his education. Besides, this amount was even lower than average Mr. Sombra gave.
Ten minutes more of Geography passed, and the bell rang then. He caught sight of all unicorns passing him again;
Red Parade, Aquamarine, Symmetry, High Dive, Glass Piece, Gear Turner, Moondance and many more were in his class. It had been so long. All due to a war.
Catching up to High Dive, Shaded lash wondered where he’d been all this time. Gear Turner worked the tanks. Red Parade led all ceremonies needed, private and public. Glass Piece and Moondance helped store all valuable things the other types of ponies may have wanted this led to question High Dive.
“Where have you been all his time?”
“In griffon’s land,” High Dive stated, with a flip of his mane.
“To flee?” Questioned Shaded Flash
“Of course,” replied the friend “We cannot comprehend with this…war,” He stated, as if it would ruin the immaculate home and presence of his high-standard family.
“And for those five years you were there, how were the griffons?”
“Very judgemental. Those creatures do not know how to act. Especially around us.”
“Hm,” Shaded Flash nodded, accepting all tidbits of information.
He trotted with his friend unto Chemistry; their schedules alike.
“I heard we have a new teacher for Chemistry,” High Dive spoke
“Who could that be? And why?”
“Xenon was…killed of starvation during the war.”
“I now feel terrible. He was Princess Treble’s brother, and a great sub-leader to the unicorns,”
“Yes. And to think that he was to starve. When his sister had been the Princess of the Unicorns.”
They slowly walked forth through the hall.
Arriving the well-known room, stained gray with ash on the walls as a result of the gassing,
On the front of the room, chalk grating the board, Shaded Flash took his scrolls by the end and opened them. The new teacher finished writing his name.
Turning around, the teacher showed who he was.
In an instant, Shaded Flash recognized him. His pale, copper build. His black and copper tinted, curly mane. And lastly, his penalizing golden gaze. Shaded Flash’s new teacher was his father.
